DEM Des Moines Masonry was founded in 2024 by a team of experienced masons who grew up watching Des Moines homes age through Iowa winters. They had seen too many crumbling chimneys, bowing basement walls, and spalling brick faces get patched with the wrong materials - only to fail again by the following spring. The goal from day one was simple: do the job right, use the right materials, and be straight with the homeowner about what needs to be done and what it costs.
